Fall Dress Shirts
Fall is the beginning of cold season. Gone are the radiant smiles of the sun and
hello to the falling leaves that color the surroundings with earthy tones displaying
an emotionless and muted sensation. This is the season when shades of brown and
thicker fabrics are starting to show up. Layers and blends are popular too to fight
the morning and evening chills.
Fall
dress shirt are often dark solid in color as these colors have higher
heat retention and make you feel warmer. They can be worn without the hassle of
sweaters or jackets over them provided that the material is thick. Since dark solids
are not very appropriate in formal environment or in work places with strict business
dress code, resort to fancy checks and stripes of dark colors with light background.
Dark colored checks and stripes achieve a warmer effect and lighter background for
that corporate look. The combination would be perfect as they fill what the other
doesn’t have. Avoid solid light colors like pink, yellow, blue and lavender. Should
you decide to stick to these colors, balance it out by choosing heavier material,
perhaps slightly thicker than the rest of your spring dress shirts. Chambray and
broadcloths are great choices for
dress shirt fabrics.
