Normal Placket Dress Shirts
Normal placket
men’s dress shirt are the traditional dress shirt you can find at
any retail store. Not many dress shirts have French plackets, and there are hardly
any covered placket dress shirts ever.
But the placket on a shirt is the long vertical strip of fabric where your buttons
are. A normal placket is independently sewn onto the shirt rather than being a part
of the dress shirt from the start. The normal placket has stitching on
both sides of the placket.
The placket isn’t something you should fuss about, especially if you are only town
between a French placket and a normal placket since it really won’t make a big different
to your
dress shirt’s style. But do note that you can’t have a
contrast placket
on a French placket because with French placket dress shirts, the placket is not
an independent piece that can be customized like the normal placket.
One other interesting option for your
dress shirt’s placket is the covered placket, which is a very interesting
and unique look for
bespoke dress shirts.

men’s dress shirts with your preferred placket type in mind.
