Pocket dress shirts are perfect for the guy who values utility. A nice pocket on your breast comes in handy if you are a smoker, like running around with a notepad, or just always keep a neat pen handy.

A simple pocket on your dress shirt gives a great asymmetrical look which most of the guys wear.

You can always opt to go pocketless, or you can shoot for double pockets with flaps for a real utility look.

Another interesting thing you can do is make your pocket color contrast, meaning you can have a white pocket on a men’s blue dress shirt, and vice versa. If you are extra daring, you would get a green pocket on a men’s black dress shirt.
